Walkabout Durango Tasting

Multi-location: Downtown Durango
Hundreds of wines featured with light appetizers at multiple downtown Durango locations. The Walkabout is our signature, multi-location, tasting event. You will enjoy not only a taste of great wine & food, but also a taste of the local nonprofit sector in which the Community Foundation invests. You’ll have a chance to learn more about a dozen wonderful nonprofits that are making a difference across our region!
Libation tables will be featured at some of our favorite Durango galleries, shops & outdoor spaces, all in our historic downtown. Light appetizers are provided at each location and save room to purchase dinner at one of our amazing local restaurants!

Under the BIG tents at Buckley Park, we will feature hundreds of wines from around the world and regional Colorado spirits. Durango’s finest restaurants will showcase their cuisine in our annual Durango Restaurant Showcase. Look for our pairing recommendations in the BIG tent to take this culinary delight to a new level.

2025 Nonprofit Partners
10 local nonprofits will be selected to receive a $2,500 grant for volunteering at the Walkabout and the Grand Tasting. Our Durango Wine Experience guests will enjoy learning more about the nonprofit sector in SW Colorado. Please check back in February for our 2025 nonprofit partners.
